About

Ancestral Memories is an electronic ambient project from the mind of North Carolina-based Zachary Sterman (Sunset Palette, Pale Blue, Youma Tapes, The Secret Theatre). Debut full length tape, 'am.pm', a musical journey intended for sparking creativity

After a streak of disenchantment in music, a need to step back, simplify, and rebuild lead Sterman to generative music. Using modular synths and other hardware Zach created soundscapes meant to frame and drive life experiences. An adventure in sound that is timeless and continuous, linking the past present and future, Ancestral Memories is here, and perhaps always was.
